  • Describe the different circumstances that these photographers experienced as Photojournalists in WW2
Robert Capa was working for a magazine to document the war in different places and report back to the magazine and he could choose where he wanted to go and when. Robert wasn't a solider like tony, he was a photographer and was treated a lot better that tony because he was seen as important. But Tony Viccaro was a solider and did not work for a company so he was fighting for his country and his life and also trying to capture war moments, so he did not decide where he could go to capture the moments, what he captured was a real life experience and could have been the image of his death but Robert was less likely to die because he was protected and did not fight along side the soliders.
  • Find and upload to your blog some work of theirs

Nguyen Ngoc Loan, South Vietnam's national police chief, executed a prisoner who was said to be a Viet Cong captain. AP photographer Eddie Adams won a Pulitzer Prize for this picture.
The image has a bigger affect than the video because it last longer and it has a lot more detail and more of a dramatic affect because you can see everything but the video is over in an instant and looks like a casual thing to happen.
At any other moment, a second before or a second after it would not have the same affect but because the image was captured at this moment it had a great affect on the war. This showed that people in Vietnam were being executed without trial.
